Walk With Frank is a film about self-discovery, mental health, and one man’s journey toward understanding and embracing PTSD.

Walking across New York State.

Frank Romeo has been working for over 30 years to change the conversation surrounding mental health and PTSD. For his 70th birthday he decided it was time to take his message on the road and walk over 750 miles across New York State to promote his new high school curriculum “The Experience of the American Soldier”.

Moving forward by embracing the past.

Many people suffering from PTSD and mental illness find it difficult taking the first step in admitting they have a problem. Once Frank learned to embrace his past and not run from it, he was able to finally take his first steps toward healing.

An inside look at life with PTSD.

Frank is not a doctor or a clinician, but his experiences have allowed for people to open up to Frank and share their personal stories. On his walk, Frank visits many homeless shelters and veteran treatment centers to meet the people suffering from mental illness in our country.

Walk With Frank explores the idea of moving forward while embracing the journey we are on, and accepting people for who they are.

PTSD is not just a veteran issue, and Walk With Frank aims to forever change the stigma and to advance the conversation surrounding mental health in our society.
